Benefits of Coworking Locations for Paradigm Consulting Group 

In 2022 and 2023, Paradigm Consulting Group moved from our long-held office spaces in Hill Tower II in Regina and on Lombard Avenue in Winnipeg to coworking spaces for our teams. While we are still proud members of Regina and Winnipeg’s Downtown ecosystem, we are proud to have shifted to these new spaces that are more accessible to our customers and communities, and that better serve our consultants. While there was a large investment of time spent moving our infrastructure and teams to this new location (that’s a blog post for another day), we haven’t looked back!  

1. Networking Opportunities 

Our coworking spaces are bustling with businesses and professionals from diverse industries, providing an invaluable networking platform. Paradigm consultants have the chance to connect with potential clients, collaborators, and industry peers. This kind of networking can lead to new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative collaborations that may not be possible in a traditional office setting.  

And what’s more, they are FUN! Whether it’s a mid-week Happy Hour, a brunch, or an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party, there are so many fun events happening that provide opportunities to connect and meet our fellow members.

We know that for consultants and successful businesses, flexibility is key. Our coworking offices offer various options that can be adjusted according to the needs of our teams. Whether we need a dedicated desk, private office, or just occasional access to a meeting room or Board area, we have several options available on any given day.  

This flexibility allows our teams to adapt their workspace according to project demands and team size without the long-term commitment of a traditional lease. Let’s face it, we’ve all tried to cram too many people in a Board Room for a meeting or had an awkward “hot desking” fail when too many people want to come into the office on a given day without enough desks. As a hybrid employer, it is important for Paradigm to have spaces that work for our people, instead of making our people conform to our space. While some days it may be most effective to work from home, there are other times our consultants benefit from a dedicated workspace, and we are here to support them! 

Something unique and awesome about our Regus office in Winnipeg, is our membership in this space enables us to use their locations across Canada! Travel is a reality for many of our consultants, and having a dedicated office space in central locations with beautiful views (and delicious coffee!) is a great perk.  

3. Cost-Effectiveness 

While certainly not the most important reason, cost effectiveness is absolutely a significant advantage to our new coworking office space that cannot be overlooked. Renting a private office or maintaining a full-scale office can be prohibitively expensive. Coworking spaces are able to offer shared amenities such as meeting rooms and administrative support, without losing the centrality and access of a Downtown office in our great cities!  

This is particularly advantageous for IT and business consultants who need access to professional resources without the overhead costs of maintaining their own office. Paradigm’s independent consultants are able to utilize our office spaces, which is a unique advantage, and one that is excellent for promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork throughout all of our teams, not just our employees.
